chapter 6: smile

I always told Le i loved her, but i don't think she knew i meant it, i loved her the same i love my mama. As i was thinking it hit me why are we at Nas house?
"Le baby why are we at Nas's house?" i asked her, she was so into her book
"Oh um that's my dad" she said lowly
i nodded my head trying to wrap me head around all of this, but I'm more that happy for her if he takes care of her, which I'm pretty sure he does.
"Oh" i smiled
"You not mad?" she asked putting the book down fully
"Why would i be mad, he is watching out for you right" i asked with my eyebrows raised
she nodded her head up and down "Then there's no reason for me to be mad" i pulled her to me again.
she rested her head on my chest while i played in her hair, for some reason i feel like she's not happy i know Le been knowing her almost my whole life the simple things matter to her she's not into all the flashy stuff so I'm wondering how she feels about all of this.
"Yo Le can i ask you something?" i asked still playing in her hair
"Anything Mikey you know that" she gave me a small smile
"How do you like it here" she lifted her head up so she can look at me it took her some time to answer.
"It bets being where I'm nit wanted i tell you that much" she said kinda angry
"Your mother most def wanted you she just has a addiction she can't kick right now yo" I let my New York accent flow
she looked away kinda waving me off i pulled her face back to mine "Yo Le listen to me" i said getting her to look at me
"What Mikey" she finally did look up at me
"You know your mother loves you right" i said lowly
she looked into my eyes with a mixture of sadness and wanting to be held
"Yea i do" she spoke
"And you know i do too right" i smiled licking my lips
she smiled hard "Yea i know YOU do"
"I'm glad you do babe" i poked her back
"STOP that tickles" she slapped my hand way
"Oh really" i asked doing it again until she was in tears smiling hard with her dimples in full affect
i stopped looking at her beauty "What" she asked whipping her eyes
"Nothing your just beautiful" i smiled
she blushed "Well g aren't you sweet" she laughed
"I try" i laughed at how she said it
"Why are you so sweet Mikey?" she asked calling me the nick name she gave me when she first met me, cause her Spanish accent would always come out when ever she said it so she called me Mikey.
"Cause i eat a lot of candy" i smiled sweetly at her
she looked at me for a moment and then we both busted out laughing "I guess" she smiled again with dimples in her check.
"Don't HATE" i move my snapback around a little
"Boy PLEASE" she waved me off again
 i just kissed her check i really do love Le and i wanted her to know that
"Thank you" she smiled again
"What for the kiss" i moved closer to her
"For that too but for making me smile" she kissed my lips
